Washington to
benefit from new primary care agreement
October 27, 2008/Iowa
City, IA: Mercy Iowa City and Family Practice of Washington, PC,
have announced today that Mercy will acquire Family Practice of
Washington, PC, and employ the physicians and staff of the practice
effective December 31, 2008.
Drs. Matthew Prihoda,
Debbie Gibbs, David Nacos and Ryan Flannery have entered into an
agreement with Mercy Iowa City that will strengthen and build on
an existing relationship to ensure that the Washington community
and surrounding area continue to have access to primary care services.
As part of the new relationship,
Mercy will recruit additional medical staff to join the existing
physicians.
